Privacy Policy

Introduction
We develop energy projects, market them to investors, supply battery storage systems and advise on cross border investments. The information our clients share with us carries real commercial value. A grid connection letter, a financial model or an investor shortlist causes direct damage if it reaches the wrong hands.
For that reason data protection is not a formality for us. It is part of how the business runs.
This policy explains how ATAK GLOBAL BV, trading as EURIVEST ENERGY, handles personal data collected through www.eurivestenergy.com and through any other channel you use to contact us.

4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.
Professional partners. Lawyers, accountants, tax advisers, technical consultants, valuers and immigration lawyers in the relevant country. Only the information needed for your matter is shared, and all partners are bound by written confidentiality obligations.
Manufacturers and suppliers. Where you request a battery or storage quotation, your technical requirements are shared with the relevant manufacturer so a price can be prepared. You may ask us to withhold commercially sensitive details.
Investors and project owners. In project sale processes, non identifying summary information may be shared with prospective investors. Detailed documents are released only to parties that have signed a confidentiality agreement.
Service providers. Hosting, email and cloud storage providers. All are engaged under Article 28 data processing agreements.
Authorities. Where required by law or a valid official request. Unless we are legally prevented from doing so, we will tell you.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Our work covers Europe, the Balkans and Türkiye, so personal data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, for example to partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo or Türkiye.
Such transfers are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission, by Standard Contractual Clauses, or by your explicit consent after being informed of the risks. Additional safeguards are applied where the destination country requires them. A copy of the safeguards in place is available on request.
6. How long we keep it
| Category | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement | 24 months from last contact |
| Engagement files | 10 years from the end of the relationship |
| Accounting and tax records | 10 years, as required under Belgian law |
| Transaction due diligence records | 10 years from completion of the transaction |
| Newsletter subscriptions | Until you unsubscribe |
| Server security logs | 12 months |
After the period ends, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Where a legal dispute is ongoing, relevant records are kept until it is resolved.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- Request erasure, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances
- Receive your data in a portable format and have it transferred
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to object to direct marketing at any time
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
We do not carry out automated decision making that produces legal effects.
How to exercise them. Write to info@eurivestenergy.com or to our office address. We may ask for information to verify your identity. We respond within one month. For complex requests this may be extended by two further months, and we will tell you if that happens. Requests are free of charge unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.
Complaints. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Belgian Data Protection Authority:
Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be
You may also complain to the supervisory authority in your own country.
8. Security

9. Cookies and embedded content
Cookies we set. This site uses only the cookies needed to make it work: session management, form security, language selection and administrator login. We do not use analytics, advertising or profiling cookies.
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent forms from submitting and language selection from working.
Embedded third party content. Some pages include content hosted by other companies. When such content loads, your IP address and browser information reach that provider, and the provider may set its own cookies. Where this happens the provider’s own privacy policy applies to that interaction.
| Provider | Where it appears | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps | Contact page | Displays our office location |
| Google Fonts | Site wide | Supplies the typefaces used in the design |
| Gravatar (Automattic) | Where profile images are shown | Supplies avatar images |
WhatsApp. The WhatsApp button on our site is a plain link. It sets no cookie, and nothing is shared until you choose to open a conversation.
If we introduce analytics or advertising tools in future, this page will be updated before those tools go live and a consent banner will be added, so that no such cookie is set without your consent.
10. Children
Our services are aimed at professional and corporate clients. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we become aware that we have, we delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The current version is always published here with the date at the top. Where changes are significant, we inform active clients by email.
12. Contact
For any question about this policy or about your personal data, write to info@eurivestenergy.com or call +32 465 17 61 33. A real person will answer you.
